Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You implement modern software solutions employing GitOps methodologies.

• Create your own tools and operators using Go.

• Construct and enhance Docker images and Kubernetes deployments.

• Define infrastructure through code.

• Utilize tools such as Terraform or Helm.

• Design and develop Kubernetes operators as well as infrastructure tools.

• Establish and manage Kubernetes clusters utilizing GitOps tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess familiarity with cloud-native technologies and deploy modern software using GitOps methodologies.

• You are motivated to not only automate infrastructure but also to create your own tools and operators in Go.

• You know how to create a Docker image and convert it into a Kubernetes deployment.

• You define infrastructure as code instead of constructing it through a user interface.

• You are acquainted with tools like Terraform or Helm.

• You have a strong knowledge of Go or can rapidly learn the language to develop Kubernetes operators, custom CLIs, or infrastructure tools.

• You possess robust shell-scripting capabilities (Bash).

• You understand the software development lifecycle and can set up, operate, and enhance standard CI/CD processes.

• You have experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Telekom) and can automate infrastructure there.

• You can establish Kubernetes clusters and manage them using GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.

• You have experience troubleshooting network issues in distributed systems.

• You are communicative, a team player, and enjoy collaborating closely with clients and teams.

• Proficient in English (minimum C1 level); German language skills are an advantage.
