Senior DevOps / SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and develop internal tools, services, and CLIs that simplify cloud and infrastructure complexities for developers.

• Design and enhance the Internal Developer Platform focusing on standardization, scalability, and improving the developer experience.

• Implement and oversee GitOps-based deployment platforms, including strategies for transitioning between environments.

• Create and standardize reusable, version-controlled Helm charts as internal products.

• Design and improve pipeline architectures utilizing GitHub Actions at an enterprise level.

• Execute advanced deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue/Green using Helm and Service Mesh.

• Apply engineering best practices, including Clean Code principles and SOLID design principles, when developing platform solutions.

• Integrate static analysis and security tools throughout the development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring modularization, versioning, and reuse.

• Serve as a technical reference, mentoring fellow engineers and influencing architectural choices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong software development experience, ideally with Python or a comparable language.

• Proficient in Kubernetes, encompassing concepts such as CRDs, Operators, and Admission Controllers.

• Experience with GitHub Actions and automation through APIs.

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud, including services like APIM, Container Apps, Networking, Storage, and managed databases.

• Proficient in Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Helm charts and managing Kubernetes deployments.

• Platform Engineering mindset with an emphasis on internal product development.

• Understanding of SRE practices such as SLAs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.

• Ability to serve as a technical reference and influence architectural decisions.
