Senior DevOps – Operations Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In your role as a consultant, you apply your practical expertise directly to projects, consistently impressing both the team and clients.

• As a specialist in DevOps, you possess extensive knowledge and passionately support the entire development lifecycle for our clients.

• Your enthusiasm for automation drives you to streamline build, test, and deploy processes without delay.

• You expertly use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to manage infrastructure automation with ease.

• You maintain a watchful eye on clients’ on-premises or cloud infrastructure, continuously enhancing its performance.

• Your commitment to alerting, monitoring, and tracing ensures seamless operational functionality.

• You particularly excel in teamwork with developers and testers within agile, cross-functional teams utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Your proactive and independent working style guarantees the smooth operation of the applications you help deliver.

• You confidently represent the operations perspective to development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders, making a significant impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• You bring a minimum of three years of experience in the DevOps field, along with prior operations experience.

• You possess a degree in IT or an equivalent qualification complemented by relevant professional experience.

• You are experienced with technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.

• Your programming and scripting capabilities include languages like Python, Bash, and Java.

• You have strong expertise in establishing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with microservice architectures and deploying applications to Kubernetes is essential.

• You demonstrate a solid understanding of network infrastructure, including routing, load balancing, and DNS.

• Experience in agile, cross-functional teams is highly advantageous.

• You are an effective communicator, open with colleagues and clients, and enjoy the consulting field.

• You possess business-fluent German and good command of English.

• You naturally embody goal orientation, structure, independence, and a solution-focused mindset.
