Senior DevOps – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Creating or expanding environments for the software developed by the team.

• Ensuring that the workstations of developers and testers are fully automated and ready for project work.

• Building and maintaining tools that facilitate the automation of the software development process at all stages.

• Striking a balance between a high level of security and the convenience and flexibility of the team's work.

• Onboarding new team members in your area of responsibility and granting them permissions.

• Preparing documentation (and if you achieve a sufficiently high level of automation, your documentation will also include your code).

• Developing various infrastructure components such as Reverse Proxy, monitoring services, or log aggregators.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• You possess practical knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins/GitLab/Github.

• You have experience in administering Linux/Windows operating systems and with Azure cloud.

• You can write scripts in Bash/Python/PowerShell.

• You are familiar with provisioning tools: Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Terraform/CDK.

• You have experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

• You have a good knowledge of Kubernetes.

• You are familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

• You can communicate in English at a level allowing for fluent conversation (minimum C1).
