Senior DevOps Engineer, Trading Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Create, oversee, and enhance tools designed to automate operational tasks and boost engineering efficiency.

• Streamline continuous delivery processes and implement solutions for on-demand capacity management.

• Design and establish configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software-related issues.

• Timely update, track, and address technical issues.

• Propose architectural improvements and recommend process enhancements.

• Assess new technology options and vendor products to align with business goals.

• Safeguard critical systems by implementing top-tier security solutions and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of technical experience in a similar position, supporting large-scale production systems.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Strong understanding of Linux-based environments.

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale, distributed environments.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language.

• Expertise with tools like Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and related technologies.

• Experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch is a plus, but not mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline).
