Senior DevOps Engineer – Production Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee critical production systems—including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), microservices, and CI/CD pipelines—leveraging advanced dashboards and proactive alerting mechanisms.

• Serve as the main technical responder for live production incidents and Slack escalations, ensuring quick triage, root-cause analysis, and prompt resolution.

• Maintain, enhance, and optimize internal runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guarantee operational predictability.

• Supervise and facilitate deployment activities in both production and non-production environments, strictly following SLAs and corporate response times.

• Collaborate extensively with core DevOps and software engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring systemic issues, thereby improving overall platform reliability.

• Assist in designing and implementing intelligent automation scripts for repetitive operational tasks, aimed at minimizing manual effort.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of demonstrated experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or high-stakes Production Support positions.

• A solid and comprehensive grasp of Microsoft Azure fundamentals, particularly in Compute, Networking, and Azure Monitoring ecosystems.

• Practical operational experience with Kubernetes, especially in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) operations, log analysis, and cluster scaling.

• Strong familiarity with contemporary monitoring and observability tools (such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms).

• Proficient in structured incident management, escalation workflows, and adhering to stringent SLA guidelines.

• Intermediate-to-advanced scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for task automation purposes.

• Extensive experience working independently in Agile teams within fully remote settings.

• Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills for effective daily technical collaboration.
