Senior DevOps Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on AWS (including Lambda, ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, S3, IAM)

• Oversee and continually enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins

• Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Ensure robust observability and monitoring of systems through tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana

• Proactively manage infrastructure security practices (DevSecOps), IAM policies, audits, and ongoing vulnerability assessments

• Provide technical guidance during incidents, performing root cause analyses, corrective actions, and preventive measures (post-mortem)

• Guide the team and foster a DevOps culture, focusing on automation and the continuous enhancement of processes and tools

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to establish development and deployment standards that align with industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Cloud and DevOps

• Proficient in AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, ElastiCache, and RDS

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions

• Knowledge of containers and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes

• Competence in monitoring and observability with CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog

• Understanding of cloud security best practices and DevSecOps methodologies

• Experience in managing and resolving critical incidents, including conducting post-mortem analyses and implementing preventive actions

• Commitment to an Agile culture and continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields
