Senior DevOps Engineer, PACCA program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the complete lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Defines automated configuration management, release management, as well as build, test, and deployment processes.

• Provides prototypes and concepts aimed at enhancing automation.

• Designs, develops, tests, and implements infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

• Supports complex projects by contributing to drafting, development, deployment, and quality assurance leading up to production.

• Develops and executes strategies for the automated integration and delivery of cloud-related security requirements.

• Collaborates closely with our cloud landing zones and DevOps teams as stakeholders to enhance process efficiency and performance.

• Conducts performance analyses and tuning, along with error analysis and troubleshooting.

• Consults on and implements innovative technologies to fulfill the innovation strategy.

• Creates concepts for the further automation of services, processes, and/or operating models.

• Continuously optimizes development and system infrastructure.

• Provides consulting to project teams in areas of expertise, including Prototypes/Proof of Concept solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with ICT Systems.

• Expert level experience in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.

• Expert proficiency in the Linux Operating System.

• Intermediate experience with AWS and Azure platforms.

• Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (K8S).

• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• Expert level experience with Git.

• Advanced proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab.

• Advanced experience with Ansible.

• Advanced familiarity with ELK, Prometheus, Icinga, Jaeger, and Grafana.

• Expert level experience in Networking.

• Advanced knowledge in Security.

• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, analytical thinker, with training and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in English at an Upper Intermediate (B2) level.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe.
