Senior DevOps Engineer – Open Sovereign Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Oversees source code management, configuration management, release management, as well as build and deployment activities.

• Establishes and manages integrations with partner applications.

• Performs performance analyses and tuning, along with error analyses and troubleshooting.

• Advises on and implements innovative technologies to align with the innovation strategy.

• Develops concepts aimed at further automating services, processes, and/or operational models.

• Provides direct support to project teams in development, quality assurance, planning, and product release implementation.

• Continuously enhances the development and system infrastructure.

• Offers consulting to project teams in areas of expertise, including Prototypes and Proof of Concept solutions.

• Conducts research and development in assigned technology, identifies business requirements, suggests modifications, and prepares implementation plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Holds a Master's degree in Information Technologies.

• Possesses 4 years of experience with ICT Systems.

• Demonstrates expert-level experience in Scripting (Bash, Python).

• Exhibits expert-level knowledge of the Linux Operating System.

• Has intermediate experience with OTC / AWS / Azure.

• Shows expert-level proficiency with Docker.

• Holds advanced experience with Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD, or CKS certified).

• Displays expert-level knowledge of Git.

• Has advanced experience with Jenkins / GitLab.

• Demonstrates intermediate experience with Maven / Gradle.

• Holds advanced experience with Ansible / Terraform / Puppet.

• Shows advanced proficiency with ELK / Prometheus / Icinga / Jaeger / Grafana.

• Exhibits expert-level knowledge in Networking.

• Demonstrates advanced experience in Security.

• Is communicative, a team player, and possesses analytical thinking, training skills, and presentation skills.

• Speaks English at an upper-intermediate level (B2).

• Has experience with Agile Methodology, Scrum, and SAFe.
