Senior DevOps Engineer – Lead Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS, Azure, and Terraform.

• Guarantee dependable deployments across the CI/CD ecosystem, including GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.

• Collaborate with the Enabler team to create self-service capabilities.

• Establish clear Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for essential services.

• Manage the technical security and compliance framework.

• Lead the DevOps team and implement effective processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership position.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (preferably EKS), GitOps, and observability tools like Datadog.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including IAM, VPC, MSK/Kafka, RDS, and S3.

• Familiarity with Azure or GCP is advantageous.

• Understanding of infrastructure security, including Network Policies, secrets management, container scanning, IAM design, and ISO 27001 standards.

• Proven experience in leading a small team and working effectively with stakeholders.

• Capacity to articulate infrastructure issues in terms of business impact and maintain a strong builder mentality.
