Senior DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers to convert platform priorities into scalable, future-oriented infrastructure strategies.

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing ArgoCD, Tekton, or similar tools, ensuring high availability across various environments.

• Create and implement enterprise-level observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing for applications based on Kubernetes.

• Work alongside architects and engineers to enhance deployments, performance, and scalability within Kubernetes environments.

• Promote continuous improvement of engineering practices, establishing standards that enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence.

• Design and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management by utilizing AWS services.

• Take ownership of security and compliance across cloud infrastructure, defining and enforcing organization-wide policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in architecting and managing data-intensive, containerized applications on Kubernetes at scale, including diagnosing and resolving complex production issues.

• Advanced knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, and ECR.

• In-depth expertise in observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, with a strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and Kubernetes settings.

• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, GitHub Workflow).

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CrossPlane, AWS ACK).

• Proven expertise with Helm and ArgoCD, including designing and managing complex CD pipelines across multiple environments.
