Senior DevOps Engineer – Global Identity Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Full accountability for the development of the Kubernetes platform (GKE) — encompassing cluster architecture and workload strategies to ensure multi-region resilience.

• Create the technology roadmap and clearly document architectural choices through Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Develop, manage, and secure contemporary deployment pipelines and GitOps workflows.

• Define, provision, and sustain cloud infrastructure through automation using Terraform.

• Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions and establish secret management protocols.

• Integrate and manage advanced identity and access systems while collaborating closely with internal teams.

• Maintain audit preparedness, ensure regulatory compliance, and consistently apply Zero Trust principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience managing Google Kubernetes Engine or similar hyperscalers in a production setting.

• Proficient in using Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD/Flux, GitLab CI or equivalent tools, along with Prometheus/Grafana and Vault.

• You have a mindset geared towards declarative patterns, immutable infrastructure, and automated feedback loops.

• Familiarity with IAM concepts, OIDC, SAML, mTLS, or Workload Identity is a significant advantage.

• Capability to communicate platform decisions and architectures effectively to stakeholders.
