This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, develop, and sustain cloud environments within Microsoft Azure, adhering to best practices for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate resource provisioning and configure environments.
• Deploy and manage Azure resources such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Function Apps, Azure API Management, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL Server / Azure SQL Databases.
• Construct and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps for application deployments, infrastructure, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with development teams utilizing C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Angular to enhance the build, test, and release processes.
• Integrate pipelines with container registries, package management systems, and automated approval workflows.
• Develop containerization strategies using Docker and oversee workloads operating on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement best practices for scaling, monitoring, logging, and securing Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and execute enhancements to improve reliability and uptime.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring appropriate configuration, patching, and hardening.
• Work with SQL Server databases to facilitate deployments, migrations, and performance optimizations.
• Establish secure configurations for Azure resources and Kubernetes clusters while enforcing governance policies, identity and access controls, and environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with both organizational and industry security standards.
• 3 to 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration using Docker.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps tools, including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, and Visual Studio to support contemporary application deployment pipelines.
• Experience with SQL Server environments, whether on-premises or cloud-based.
• Solid practical knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with modern web application stacks, including Angular.
• Working knowledge of Azure App Services, Function Apps, and Azure API Management.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or similar are highly favored.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, or New Relic is advantageous.
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and containerized workloads is preferred.
