This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Design, develop, and sustain cloud environments in Microsoft Azure, adhering to best practices for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Execute and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automating resource provisioning and environmental setup.
• Deploy and manage various Azure resources such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Function Apps, Azure API Management, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL Server / Azure SQL Databases.
• Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for application deployments, infrastructure, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with development teams utilizing C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Angular to enhance the build, test, and release workflows.
• Integrate pipelines with container registries, package management, and automated approval processes.
• Formulate container strategies using Docker and oversee workloads operating on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Apply best practices for scaling, monitoring, logging, and securing Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and uptime.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring appropriate configuration, patching, and hardening.
• Collaborate with SQL Server databases to facilitate deployments, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Enforce secure configurations for Azure resources and Kubernetes clusters while upholding governance policies, identity and access controls, and environmental standards.
• Guarantee compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
• 3 to 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related engineering positions.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration via Docker.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, and Visual Studio to support contemporary application deployment pipelines.
• Experience working with SQL Server environments, both on-premises and cloud-based.
• Practical knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with modern web application stacks, including Angular.
• Understanding of Azure App Services, Function Apps, and Azure API Management.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or similar are strongly preferred.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, or New Relic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and containerized environments is preferred.
