This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, construct, and uphold cloud environments within Microsoft Azure adhering to best practices for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to streamline resource provisioning and environment setup.
• Deploy and manage Azure resources, encompassing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Function Apps, Azure API Management, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL Server / Azure SQL Databases.
• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps for application deployments, infrastructure management, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with development teams proficient in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Angular to enhance the build, test, and release processes.
• Integrate pipelines with container registries, package management systems, and automated approval workflows.
• Formulate container strategies using Docker and oversee workloads operating on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Employ best practices for scaling, monitoring, logging, and securing Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and implement enhancements to boost reliability and uptime.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring proper configuration, patching, and hardening measures are in place.
• Work with SQL Server databases to facilitate deployments, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Enforce secure configurations for Azure resources and Kubernetes clusters while upholding governance policies, identity and access controls, and environmental standards.
• Ensure adherence to organizational and industry security regulations.
• 3 to 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar engineering positions.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration utilizing Docker.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps tools including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, and Visual Studio to aid modern application deployment pipelines.
• Experience with SQL Server environments, whether on-premises or cloud-based.
• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with contemporary web application stacks, including Angular.
• Working knowledge of Azure App Services, Function Apps, and Azure API Management.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Experience in implementing monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, or New Relic is a plus.
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and containerized workloads is preferred.
