Senior DevOps Engineer – Dortmund, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development, automation, and deployment of cloud environments (Private Managed Cloud/Public Cloud)

• Establishment, operation, optimization, and support of applications in the customer environment

• Monitoring and incident management within a cross-functional team

• Independent moderation between operational requirements and developer needs

• Application of DevOps and Clean Code principles

• Keeping an eye on processes and deployment pipelines

• Regular training in cloud-native topics and the latest trends in software operations

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification

• Experience in the IT industry

• Structuring, analyzing, and production operations of customer-specific requirements

• Successful implementation of DevOps projects

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps (ArgoCD)

• Experience in automation and scripting of Linux environments

• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure or GCP (optional)

• Analytical and logical thinking

• Cooperative, agile, and solution-oriented team player

• Reliable point of contact for the project team and the customer
