Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code across both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Construct, operate, and enhance CI/CD pipelines that facilitate platform and infrastructure delivery.

• Contribute to the enablement of a Kubernetes-based container platform, including workload deployment and lifecycle automation.

• Provide support for Linux-based systems, including automation, patch management, and system hardening.

• Integrate infrastructure and services with monitoring and observability platforms.

• Assist in automating security and identity management, including secrets, certificates, and access models.

• Collaborate with fellow DevOps engineers in a shared ownership model to deliver integrated platform capabilities.

• Document solutions and actively participate in knowledge transfer to internal teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.

• Strong practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

• Experience in hybrid (cloud + on-premises) and/or multi-cloud environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking, security, identity, and observability concepts.

• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments, including change management, audits, and compliance.

• An automation-first mindset with the capability to build, operate, and continually enhance platforms.

• Ability to document solutions clearly and collaborate effectively within distributed teams.

• Nice to have: Advanced experience with GitLab CI/CD, including runner architecture and scaling.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platform implementation (AKS and/or on-premises clusters).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.

• Understanding of observability platforms like the ELK stack or APM tools.

• Experience with secrets management, identity federation (SSO), or Active Directory integration.

• Exposure to infrastructure or network automation (DNS, load balancers, firewalls via IaC or APIs).

• Experience in containerizing applications (e.g., .NET workloads).

• Proficient in using AI tools in daily workflows.
