Senior DevOps Engineer, Blockchain Infra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Manage and enhance Kubernetes clusters within production settings.

• Oversee cluster autoscaling and capacity planning utilizing Karpenter and native Kubernetes technologies.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Architect and refine CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure.

• Deploy and manage middleware platforms such as Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.

• Automate operational tasks using Golang and Python.

• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery of the platform.

• Diagnose production incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers to enhance deployment processes and developer experience on the platform.

• Engage in on-call rotations and incident response activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Proficient experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS / GCP / Azure.

• Practical experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.

• Familiarity with Karpenter for Kubernetes autoscaling and node lifecycle management.

• Extensive experience with Terraform for automating infrastructure.

• Knowledge in administering Linux systems and understanding networking fundamentals.

• Experience working with middleware technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.

• Strong scripting and programming capabilities in Golang and Python.

• Experience with Git, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD platforms.

• Solid understanding of observability tools like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.

• Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with blockchain infrastructure or Web3 platforms is preferred.

• Experience in deploying and managing blockchain nodes (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Cosmos, or other Layer 1/Layer 2 networks) is preferred.

• Familiarity with blockchain RPC services, validators, indexing services, or distributed consensus systems is preferred.

• Experience with Argo CD, Helm, Helmfile, or Flux is preferred.

• Experience with multi-region and multi-cloud deployments is preferred.

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, networking, and secrets management is preferred.

• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd is preferred.

• Familiarity with message queues, distributed caching, and high-throughput systems is preferred.

• Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for large-scale distributed systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with security and compliance best practices (IAM, WAF, Vault, KMS, etc.) is a nice to have.
