
Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Design and execute highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure architectures utilizing Microsoft Azure services, such as AKS, VNETs, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, Key Vault, and Azure Application Gateway.
• Create and sustain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM Templates to provision and manage cloud resources in a repeatable and uniform manner.
• Develop, implement, and refine robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI) for both application deployment and infrastructure modifications.
• Manage, secure, and optimize Kubernetes clusters (preferably AKS), concentrating on networking, scaling, security hardening, and performance enhancement.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor/Log Analytics to maintain platform health and proactively identify issues.
• Uphold security best practices, enforce policies (e.g., Azure Policies), and verify that all deployments meet industry standards and internal IT security requirements.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and product teams to define requirements, troubleshoot complex production issues, and mentor junior team members in DevOps methodologies and tools.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role, with a focus on enterprise-scale solutions.
• Proven in-depth expertise in designing, deploying, and managing complex infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), encompassing cluster operations, networking, security, and the use of tools like Helm or Kustomize.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform or comparable IaC tools (e.g., ARM Templates, Bicep).
• Demonstrable experience in constructing and overseeing modern CI/CD automation pipelines using technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Solid scripting abilities in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for task automation and system configuration.
• Excellent understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VNETs, network security groups (NSG), load balancing, and private connectivity.
• Proficient in professional English (written and spoken) with excellent collaboration skills in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Nice to have: Experience with advanced Azure services for data or AI/ML workloads (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization strategies.
