This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Design and sustain robust Azure cloud infrastructure and services, demonstrating proficiency in managing hybrid environments.
• Architect network configurations, security zones, and firewall policies for multi-tier application frameworks.
• Establish and uphold Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards throughout the organization utilizing tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Assess, select, and incorporate tools from the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure App Service, to enhance cloud platform functionalities.
• Create, develop, and manage multi-stage, secure, and resilient CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
• Oversee dependable, automated, and scalable deployments to Azure services (e.g., AKS, App Service, Function Apps).
• Execute and manage serverless and containerized deployment methodologies in Azure.
• Collaborate closely with network and security teams for critical cloud operations, including certificate management, Azure DNS configuration, and Azure Load Balancer/Traffic Manager setup.
• Implement and oversee extensive monitoring solutions utilizing the Azure stack: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics Workspaces.
• Define, monitor, and report on SLIs (Service Level Indicators) and SLOs (Service Level Objectives), effectively managing error budgets in partnership with development leads.
• Integrate proactive DevSecOps methodologies: SAST (Static Analysis), DAST (Dynamic Analysis), dependency scanning, and secrets detection directly within the CI/CD pipelines.
• More than 6 years of progressive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in the Azure ecosystem and services (Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, AKS, Key Vault, Azure Networking, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to design and manage intricate cloud infrastructures with an Azure-first focus.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD principles and substantial hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure Pipelines.
• Strong scripting abilities in Bash or Python for automating cloud processes.
• Proficient in IaC tools (e.g., Bicep, Terraform) for managing Azure resources.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, particularly within the Azure monitoring framework.
• Solid grasp of networking principles, security best practices (e.g., firewall rules, RBAC, least privilege), and certificate management in Azure.
• Familiarity with contemporary application development concepts is advantageous.
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Understanding of the .NET and React development ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Helm, Service Meshes, and best practices for container security.
• Experience deploying to Windows Server/IIS and managing on-premises infrastructure.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and spearheading technical initiatives.
• Strong documentation and communication skills to ensure stakeholder alignment.
