Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS Cloud Migrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Lead and execute AWS cloud migration initiatives.

• Design and establish secure landing zones.

• Transition applications, infrastructure, and databases to AWS.

• Assist with cutovers and production go-lives, prioritizing stability and security.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Automate cloud environments and deployment processes.

• Ensure observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

• Migrate and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS/Fargate.

• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of workloads.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customer teams.

• Support migration scoping and provide technical estimations.

• Clearly articulate trade-offs and architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineering.

• Robust hands-on experience with AWS.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Experience in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with container platforms: Kubernetes OR ECS.

• Fluent in both English and German.
