Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the operations team

• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to optimize existing deployment processes

• Execute application updates

• Implement security initiatives across various server and networking platforms

• Oversee the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of both hardware and software

• Develop scripts to automate tasks and processes

• Ensure the security, stability, and uptime of production, staging, and development environments

• Monitor these environments and respond to alerts and issues as they arise

• Engage in an on-call rotation for priority-1 level alarms

• Maintain network, server, and storage assets within cloud environments

• Drive ongoing upgrades and enhancements to infrastructure and processes

• Assist in planning application and infrastructure releases, as well as configuration changes

• Liaise with internal teams and external third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps or system administration within a production environment

• Proficient in scripting with at least one programming language (bash/python/php/go)

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform/CloudFormation)

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Knowledge of the LEMP stack

• Understanding of networking and security concepts

• Skilled in deployment and debugging of complex applications

• Experience with cloud-based services and virtualization
