Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Installation and configuration of new Linux Ubuntu servers, adhering to defined standards;

• Automation of server provisioning and configuration using Ansible;

• Administration and maintenance of virtualization environments (Proxmox and others);

• Response to and resolution of infrastructure alerts via Zabbix (disk, services, resources, failures);

• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of offline or degraded services;

• Operation and maintenance of containerized services utilizing Docker;

• Implementation and upkeep of backup routines, including restoration testing;

• Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MySQL replication (master/slave or other architectures);

• Optimization of MySQL databases, including query analysis and index creation/adjustment;

• Support for the operation and maintenance of MongoDB and Redis databases;

• Involvement in troubleshooting messaging systems based on MQTT;

• Log analysis of Apache and Nginx, system, and applications for failure and incident diagnosis;

• Application of security best practices on Linux servers, including hardening and continuous monitoring;

• Engagement in server environments at cloud providers (OVH), covering networking, storage, and server reinstallation;

• Administration and maintenance of cloud environments (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC;

• Assistance in the standardization and organization of the existing infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of **3 to 5 years of experience** in a DevOps role.

• Strong experience with **Linux Ubuntu** in production environments;

• Ability for **troubleshooting** and handling **incidents**;

• Hands-on experience with **Ansible** for server automation;

• Practical experience with **administration of virtualized environments**;

• Familiarity with **operational routines** in infrastructure;

• Experience with **Zabbix** for monitoring and alert response;

• Practical knowledge of **Docker** for container operations;

• Experience with **MySQL** (backup, replication, and query optimization);

• Practical knowledge of **MongoDB and Redis**;

• Experience in analyzing logs from **Apache and Nginx**;

• Experience with **MQTT** for messaging systems;

• Knowledge of basic **Linux server security practices**;

• Familiarity with server environments at **OVH**.
