Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance a production AWS/Kubernetes platform, which includes managing incidents, deployments, rollbacks, IAM modifications, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.

• Facilitate the ongoing evolution of the platform, focusing on environment separation, versioning of releases, monitoring workflows, and executing production migrations.

• Enhance observability, alerting mechanisms, and overall platform reliability utilizing tools like Loki and Grafana.

• Assist in the hardening of HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, which encompasses encryption, access controls, audit logging, and secure operational methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive DevOps / Platform Engineering experience at a senior level within production environments.

• Proficient in AWS, including IAM, cross-account access, EKS/Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and KMS.

• Strong background in production Kubernetes, Docker/container technologies, CI/CD processes, Linux, and networking.

• Familiarity with automation through Python and shell scripting.

• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.

• Open-minded, inquisitive, and willing to learn new technologies as the platform develops.

• Availability for approximately 20 hours a week, ideally coinciding with U.S. Eastern business hours.

• Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in HIPAA, healthcare, or other regulated environments.

• Exposure to GCP, particularly with Vertex AI or Cloud Logging.

• Experience in observability tools like Loki and Grafana.

• Familiarity with MLOps or AI/ML infrastructure.

• Experience in supporting globally distributed or 24/7 production systems.
