Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain CI/CD pipelines (such as Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.)

• Automate infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and OpenStack

• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability systems (including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

• Enhance build, test, and deployment workflows for improved speed and reliability

• Collaborate with developers to ensure that packages are ready for production

• Propel advancements in system performance, security, and scalability

• Deliver a comprehensive virtualization-focused Linux distribution

• Assist in incident response as well as post-mortem analysis

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Linux Development, or Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (such as Docker and Kubernetes)

• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (like Compass)

• Solid understanding of networking, Linux internals, and system security principles

• Proficient scripting abilities (Bash, Python) for automation purposes

• In-depth knowledge of C, C++, Go, or Rust programming languages

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools

• A proactive attitude with a sense of ownership and excellent communication skills

• Willingness to reassess existing infrastructure and suggest innovative improvements
