Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Jenkinsfiles.

• Create, provision, and oversee scalable AWS infrastructure through Terraform.

• Deploy, manage, and resolve issues within Kubernetes clusters and Kafka messaging systems.

• Automate the deployment of infrastructure and applications using Python and Groovy.

• Work collaboratively with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance software delivery and infrastructure management.

• Monitor, optimize, and maintain high availability and security in cloud and containerized environments.

• Apply best practices for infrastructure as code, security, and compliance.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of DevOps and automation best practices.

• Assess and incorporate new tools and technologies to boost automation, reliability, and scalability.

• Document processes, architectures, and solutions for knowledge sharing and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.

• Advanced knowledge of Jenkins, Jenkinsfiles, and pipeline-as-code.

• Profound expertise in AWS services and Terraform.

• Significant experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed) and Kafka.

• Skilled in Python and Groovy scripting.

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration.

• Strong grasp of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
