Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mauritius.

📋 Description

• Accountable for CI/CD processes, infrastructure configuration and security, along with the upkeep of systems, virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud-based applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or in a comparable position.

• Proficient in system administration on Linux platforms (Debian/Alpine).

• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Skills in delivering and deploying CI/CD tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of web application architecture, including DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and load balancing.

• Experience with GitHub/GitLab and a strong grasp of core Git concepts.

• Knowledge of GitOps principles and associated tools (ArgoCD as the management tool, Helm + Kustomize + plain YAML manifests based on application maturity).

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.

• Understanding of relational databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, including their administration.

• Proficient in scripting with Bash.

• Skills in server stack configuration and optimization (Nginx).

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English.
