Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop scripts and utilize software tools to investigate new features and enhance customer capabilities.

• Aid in diagnosing and resolving issues that impact release scope, timeline, and quality.

• Produce documentation outlining best practices and common challenges related to system configuration and operation.

• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to maintain access control, data integrity, and file system security within the computer/data center environment.

• Availability for after-hours and on-call work is required as part of the release cycle.

• Oversee the implementation and management of application development and deployment pipelines.

• Establish quality control and review systems throughout the deployment processes.

• Work together with technology leadership to enhance software engineering processes and practices related to continuous building, deploying, and updating of software and environments.

• Supervise and advance DevOps processes.

• Offer guidance to assist project teams in managing and deploying releases within a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Contribute to shaping the strategic direction for DevOps and Release processes with an emphasis on automating the delivery model.

• Develop and track DevOps and Release Management metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 9 - 12 years of experience.

• Proficiency in PowerShell/AZCLI scripting (5+ years).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Azure ARM Templates and Azure Bicep.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Server (On-Prem) and Azure DevOps Services (Cloud).

• Solid understanding of Azure Resources (such as Azure App Services, Storage, Databases, Logging, etc.).

• Experience with GIT (3+ years).

• Competence in programming languages including C#, YAML, PowerShell/AZCLI scripting, JavaScript, and Python.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies.

• Experience with Octopus Deploy.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio.

• Understanding of databases and deployment processes.

• Experience with deployment automation tools is a plus.
