Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the installation, configuration, and upgrades of Qodo’s Kubernetes-based stack within customer-managed AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.

• Diagnose unfamiliar customer environments in real time, gather diagnostics, pinpoint root causes, and develop custom Python/Bash scripts.

• Act as a technical liaison to enterprise engineering teams during the onboarding process.

• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering as necessary for clients based in the US.

• Integrate deployment best practices into Terraform and Helm infrastructure-as-code modules.

• Develop and sustain an internal knowledge base for repeatable, automated onboarding procedures.

• Monitor the performance and health of PostgreSQL, Redis, container networking, storage, and other essential infrastructure components in isolated client stacks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure.

• Demonstrated success in product-driven B2B SaaS, DevOps tooling, or developer platform companies.

• Background in customer-facing deployment, technical onboarding, or Field DevOps roles.

• Must reside in the Central Time Zone, USA.

• Expert-level, hands-on experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex production Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.

• Proficient with Terraform and Helm across AWS, GCP, and Azure, especially within customer VPC/tenant boundaries.

• Strong understanding of Linux networking, IAM/security policies, storage drivers, and database infrastructure management.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.

• Strong skills in Python or Bash for creating diagnostic tools, automation scripts, and deployment solutions.

• Able to navigate ambiguity, make independent technical decisions, and drive projects forward autonomously.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish trust with client engineers under pressure.
