Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Implement and oversee security measures and automation within a DevOps framework in public cloud environments.

• Identify requirements and evaluate suitable tools to tackle security and automation challenges in cloud settings and CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage and enhance a highly intricate infrastructure and CI/CD configuration.

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to share the accountability of managing the CI/CD process, especially concerning individual microservices.

• Prepare application configurations and ensure infrastructure scalability for high-load scenarios, high availability situations, and zero downtime deployments.

• Administer Cloud and On-Premise services, including the Atlassian stack and email servers.

• Participate in the creation, deployment, and upkeep of microservices infrastructure.

• Tailor configurations for various product types, adhering to complex business rules.

• Support the operation and maintenance of our Azure-hosted servers.

• Automate processes instead of performing them repetitively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Kyma and experience in managing enterprise applications on Kubernetes is preferred.

• Scripting skills in either Bash or Python.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, and Git Actions.

• Background in microservices architecture, specifically with Spring Boot and AWS Lambda Functions.

• Understanding and experience with serverless programming.

• Knowledge of tools like Kuma, Kompass, Helm, and SAP Commerce Cloud will be viewed as an additional benefit.
