Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create and manage containerized deployment configurations utilizing Docker and associated technologies.

• Establish repeatable deployment and runtime frameworks across both cloud and hybrid settings.

• Develop and uphold automation for deployment and environments to guarantee consistent and traceable operations.

• Assist development teams with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management processes.

• Design and enhance observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) to ensure dependable operations.

• Provide guidance on infrastructure considerations such as networking, security, hardware needs, and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure operability is prioritized from the outset.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to boost operational efficiency while rigorously assessing their outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with Docker and container deployment models.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and best operational practices.

• Experience managing distributed systems in cloud or hybrid environments.

• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and security principles.

• Passion for supporting development teams with standards, tools, and expert guidance.

• Experience in the responsible use of AI-assisted tools within operational settings.

• Proficient communication skills in English (C1 level); proficiency in German is an advantage.
