Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the operational stability, availability, and reliability of a global IVR platform across both AWS and on-premises settings.

• Assist with production deployments, environment configurations, and release processes.

• Oversee the daily operations of high-availability IVR and voice platforms.

• Track system health, performance, and availability through logs and metrics.

• Engage in and contribute to the investigation and resolution of production incidents.

• Diagnose issues related to infrastructure, applications, voice, SIP, and call flows.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams during incidents and releases.

• Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours production support as necessary.

• Embed security best practices ("secure-by-default") into the pipeline, including access control and vulnerability assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in supporting production systems within a DevOps, SRE, or operations-oriented role.

• In-depth working knowledge of AWS cloud services.

• Robust hands-on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and VPC networking.

• Significant experience with Unix/Linux production environments.

• Familiarity with AWS-hosted relational databases (e.g., Amazon Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL) in production settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and methodologies.

• Capability to utilize network and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, investigation, and production support.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams.

• Preferred: Proficiency in programming with Golang.

• Experience with CloudFormation.
