Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and ECS (Elastic Container Service).

• Develop, sustain, and enhance efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Azure DevOps to guarantee seamless and automated software delivery.

• Employ Terraform for the provisioning and management of cloud resources, and utilize Ansible for configuration management and application deployment.

• Produce high-quality, maintainable code for automation, tooling, and system integrations in Python, Java, or Golang.

• Oversee system performance, resolve complex infrastructure challenges, and implement proactive solutions to maintain high availability and reduce downtime.

• Collaborate closely with our .NET development teams to optimize the development lifecycle, enhance application architecture for the cloud, and promote a culture of DevOps best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering position.

• Demonstrated experience in software development with strong algorithmic and problem-solving capabilities.

• Highly skilled in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or Golang.

• Extensive familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, particularly in container orchestration using EKS and ECS.

• Significant hands-on experience with GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.

• Advanced understanding of Git and branching strategies.

• Experience or familiarity with .NET / C# technologies is a plus.

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are preferred.
