Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee and enhance infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Guarantee high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Implement and sustain monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).

• Ensure system health, performance, and reliability.

• Uphold security best practices and conduct regular audits.

• Maintain compliance with standards such as SOC2 and ISO 27001.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and stakeholders to facilitate deployments and optimizations.

• Diagnose issues and enhance system performance.

• Participate in on-call rotations.

• Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

• Build and manage Docker containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, Nomad).

• Apply GitOps methodologies and create automation scripts (Shell, Python, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering.

• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD).

• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

• Experience in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
