Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.

• Establish and manage Bedrock, OpenSearch, and DocumentDB for AI-driven and high-volume data workflows.

• Administer and enhance Kubernetes clusters (pods, services, autoscaling, networking).

• Develop and sustain robust CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable releases.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable automated provisioning and ensure environment consistency.

• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability utilizing observability tools.

• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization effectively.

• Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are in place.

• Collaborate with Development, QA, ML, and Product teams to enhance deployment efficiency.

• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.

• Manage deployments on AWS ECS / Fargate and within container registries (ECR).

• Maintain environment parity across development, staging, and production.

• Integrate security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, AWS Security Hub, AWS GuardDuty, and AWS Config.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem, including EC2, S3, ECS, Fargate, ALB, VPC, SQS, RDS, Elasticache, and more.

• Proven expertise in managing OpenSearch clusters and performance tuning.

• Experience with DocumentDB or comparable NoSQL databases.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or ML infrastructure is highly preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (pods, scaling, deployments, networking).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.

• Proficient in Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and system design.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

• Scripting knowledge in Bash or Python.
