Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Revamp and standardize Azure DevOps pipelines that support Foley’s .NET SaaS platform to enhance reliability, speed, and consistency.

• Create and implement workflows using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions that set scalable standards for AI-native products and engineering teams.

• Propel the adoption of pipeline-as-code and enforce deployment best practices across development, staging, and production environments.

• Integrate observability, automated quality gates, and testing frameworks into CI/CD workflows directly.

• Implement and manage SAST and DAST tools within Azure DevOps and GitHub environments.

• Establish security enforcement policies, workflows for vulnerability remediation, and standards for deployment gates.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance application security posture through automation and secure development methodologies.

• Oversee secure secrets management, IAM controls, and infrastructure security standards.

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform and AWS CDK.

• Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code patterns that cater to SaaS and AI platform workloads.

• Enhance platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency via automation and engineering best practices.

• Contribute to architectural decisions that facilitate long-term platform evolution and growth.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to boost engineering productivity and operational excellence.

• Support infrastructure needs for AI workloads, agent platforms, model integrations, and new AI services.

• Identify avenues to automate repetitive operational tasks using AI and modern platform tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or similar infrastructure roles.

• Extensive experience in operating and supporting production workloads in AWS.

• Practical expertise with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions in enterprise-level environments.

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.

• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and principles of least-privilege design.

• Experience in integrating SAST and DAST tools into CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in embedding automated testing (unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing) into deployment workflows.

• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and systems-thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
