Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Automating infrastructure utilizing tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, and similar technologies.

• Overseeing more than 100 Linux servers within a PCI-DSS compliant environment (service provider level 1).

• Taking full responsibility for technical operations and monitoring across various layers.

• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in building infrastructure using automation tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.

• Proven experience with major Cloud Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• 5-10 years of experience in Linux administration.

• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Experience in automation with Jenkins and knowledge of GIT.

• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, Galera, AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, and Cloud Spanner.

• Competent in virtualization, particularly with VMWare environments.

• An IT-related degree or equivalent qualification.

• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.

• A motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual with excellent communication abilities.

• Considered a plus: Development experience, a strong networking background, proven expertise in a HA, PCI-DSS environment, and experience with payment systems and payment-based infrastructures.
