Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Ensure the automation of deployments, configuration management, containerization, release management, monitoring, lifecycle support (pipelines), and documentation services.

• Opportunity to explore and develop cutting-edge automation solutions.

• Designs, develops, tests, and implements infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Oversees source code management, configuration management, release management, and build and deployment activities.

• Sets up and manages integration with partner applications.

• Conducts performance analysis and tuning, as well as error analysis and troubleshooting.

• Advises on and implements innovative technologies to fulfill the innovation strategy.

• Develops concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operational models.

• Directly supports project teams in development, quality assurance during development, and the planning and implementation of product releases.

• Continuously enhances the development and system infrastructure.

• Provides consulting to project teams in areas of expertise and creates prototypes/proof of concept solutions.

• Researches and develops in assigned technologies, identifies business requirements, proposes changes, and prepares implementation plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a secondary education in Information Technologies – Master’s level.

• Have 4 years of experience with ICT Systems.

• Possess expert-level experience in scripting (Bash, Python).

• Have expert-level experience with the Linux Operating System.

• Hold intermediate experience with OTC / AWS / Azure.

• Possess expert-level experience with Docker.

• Have advanced experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift.

• Hold expert-level experience with Git.

• Have advanced experience with Jenkins / GitLab.

• Possess intermediate experience with Maven / Gradle.

• Have advanced experience with Ansible / Terraform / Puppet.

• Possess advanced experience with ELK / Prometheus / Icinga / Jaeger / Grafana.

• Have expert-level experience with Networking.

• Possess advanced experience with Security.

• Be communicative, a team player, and possess analytical thinking, training skills, and presentation skills.

• Speak English at an upper-intermediate level (B2).

• Have experience with Agile Methodology, Scrum, and SAFe.
