Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and advancement of cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Propel automation initiatives for deployment and infrastructure to guarantee high availability, reliability, and efficiency.

• Take ownership of the architecture and management of AWS networking environments.

• Direct the design and operation of containerized platforms and orchestration.

• Design, maintain, and continually enhance CI/CD pipelines at scale.

• Establish and execute monitoring, observability, and alerting strategies.

• Ensure comprehensive security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization of infrastructure.

• Serve as a technical collaborator for engineering and operations teams to facilitate continuous delivery.

• Assess, recommend, and spearhead the adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments (non-negotiable).

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Demonstrated expertise in AWS networking, including VPC, VPN, Transit Gateway, and Flow Logs.

• Experience in designing and managing multi-region AWS architectures.

• Strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment orchestration.

• Significant experience with container platforms and orchestration: Docker, ECS, EKS (Kubernetes).

• Practical experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation, as well as infrastructure validation/testing.

• Experience in performance optimization and cloud cost management.

• Programming skills in at least one language: Python, JavaScript, or Go.

• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
