Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Data DevOps Engineer, you will serve as the foundation of our cloud operations, ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and conducive to developer needs.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You will provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt, upholding high standards for modularity and reusability.

• Kubernetes Orchestration: You will take the lead in administering EKS clusters, managing version upgrades, implementing effective autoscaling strategies, and enforcing strong security policies.

• CI/CD & Automation: Your responsibilities will include designing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines that facilitate quick and reliable deployments across various microservices.

• Cloud Ecosystem Management: You will configure and optimize vital cloud services such as Aurora (PostgreSQL), SQS, S3 storage, and secure Secrets Management.

• MLOps Support: You will collaborate with Data Science teams to assist in the deployment and scaling of Machine Learning models within the AWS environment.

• Performance & Support: Acting as a technical escalation point for development teams, you will provide expert troubleshooting, performance optimization, and architectural advice.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC).

• Over 5 years of extensive experience with AWS services, particularly EKS, IAM, Lambda, S3, Aurora, and SQS.

• Significant experience in managing Kubernetes at scale and working with Docker/containerized environments.

• Proven proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).

• At least 3 years of programming experience in Python for automation and tooling purposes.

• A solid foundation in Linux administration and advanced networking concepts.

• Advanced oral and written communication skills in English.
