Senior DevOps Engineer – AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the infrastructure that powers Manta, a distributed AI platform that integrates edge computing, dedicated servers, and high-performance data systems.

• Spearhead the transition from managed hosting to a global Hetzner-based architecture.

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or equivalent tools.

• Establish monitoring and observability across various services.

• Design deployment pipelines that cater to enterprise customers.

• Assist in developing secure on-premises deployment capabilities.

• Enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive DevOps / Infrastructure experience at a senior level.

• Proficient in Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.

• Experience in setting up monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus.

• Solid understanding of networking principles.

• Ability to manage infrastructure from start to finish, collaborating closely with developers.

• A commitment to reproducible development environments, potentially using Nix, devenv, or similar tools.

• Preferred: Experience with bare-metal hosting.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Dokku, or Docker Swarm.

• Experience with Tailscale or Wireguard-based networking configurations.

• Background in startups or small teams.

• Familiarity with Nix or other reproducible build systems.
