Senior DevOps & Cloud/SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Strong capability to efficiently manage databases, execute updates, and troubleshoot performance issues.

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to guarantee scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Diagnose and resolve production problems, ensuring stability through well-defined short-, mid-, and long-term solutions.

• Extensive background in DevOps, CI/CD, and GitOps automation methodologies.

• Advocate for and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.

• Enforce and uphold security best practices, including secrets management, identity access control, and vulnerability assessments.

• Identify and rectify performance issues and production incidents to ensure system reliability and uptime.

• Promote automation, observability, and a DevOps culture across both client and internal projects.

• Continuously investigate and suggest emerging technologies to improve operational excellence for Stack Builders and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a comparable infrastructure-oriented engineering position.

• Proficient spoken and written English language skills.

• Experience in Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, Go, etc.), along with strong Linux troubleshooting abilities.

• Practical experience in executing database changes and resolving performance challenges.

• Strong problem-solving skills, assertive communication, and a collaborative attitude.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience managing cloud environments (preferably AWS or GCP).

• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar).

• Solid comprehension of system security, networking concepts, and automation practices.
