Senior DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.

• Maintain infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform or similar technologies.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

• Ensure the functionality of CI/CD pipelines and facilitate deployment automation.

• Administer core data platform infrastructure (e.g., Databricks environments).

• Apply security best practices throughout cloud environments (IAM, encryption, secrets management).

• Assist in compliance efforts such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR.

• Conduct vulnerability management and perform access reviews.

• Automate infrastructure and internal processes through scripting and workflow tools.

• Enhance self-service capabilities for engineering teams.

• Provision and manage infrastructure within client cloud environments when necessary.

• Support engineering teams with environment setup and troubleshooting of infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles in enterprise settings.

• Strong background with AWS (EKS, IAM, Networking) and managing production-grade platforms.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform.

• Extensive experience in running Kubernetes / EKS in a production environment (administration, operation, and troubleshooting).

• Solid grasp of CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.

• Expertise in Secrets Management and integration with tools such as HashiCorp Vault and HCP.

• Strong focus on Observability, scalability, and proactive operational enhancements.

• Experience in infrastructure and production operations with a clear SRE orientation.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Python for advanced automation and scripting tasks.

• Familiarity with Data & AI infrastructure (working with Redis, ClickHouse, or similar technologies).

• Knowledge of Observability stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience in regulated environments or enterprise-level security protocols.

• Familiarity with DataOps or architectures for high-traffic data platforms.
