Senior Developer Success Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical authority for the Temporal developer community.

• Assist users in deploying and scaling Temporal within cloud-native environments.

• Resolve intricate infrastructure challenges across Temporal workflows, SDKs, workers, and infrastructure.

• Enhance performance and reliability.

• Utilize logs, metrics, Grafana, and Prometheus to diagnose issues and replicate bugs.

• Direct customers towards dependable and scalable production deployments.

• Proactively lead technical solutions, including debugging production challenges and formulating infrastructure best practices.

• Collaborate closely with developers, engineering teams, and product teams to comprehend infrastructure hurdles and deliver solutions.

• Impact platform enhancements, tool improvements, and self-service infrastructure solutions.

• Connect developers with the Temporal platform while emphasizing reliability, performance, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience as a developer.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or TypeScript.

• Background in deploying and managing medium to large-scale architectures like Kubernetes or Docker.

• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience in troubleshooting performance and availability challenges.

• At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role, whether internal or external.

• Experience working within or as part of remote teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A strong passion for assisting others.

• Ability to prioritize understanding, lead with data, and depend on factual information.

• Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as professional services consultant, solutions architect, or customer engineer is a plus.

• Experience with security certificate management and implementation is an added advantage.

• Capability to comprehend use cases and translate them into design decisions and architectural best practices for Temporal is beneficial.

• Familiarity with EKS, GKE, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTracing, Terraform, Ansible, or CDK is a desirable asset.
