Senior Developer – R-Shiny, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Creation and development of R-Shiny and React applications

• Ideation and execution of front-end solutions using Shiny and React

• Development of dashboards and data visualizations

• Ongoing enhancement and optimization of software interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

• Refinement of frontend architecture focusing on performance, security, and user experience

• Assessment and integration of appropriate R and JS libraries

• Growth and management of our React component library

• Documentation, upkeep, and quality assurance of code

• Close collaboration and coordination with our development team

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant professional training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, and/or Information Technology

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role

• Extensive knowledge of R and R-Shiny (essential)

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Comprehensive knowledge of React (essential) along with experience in TypeScript and Vite

• Familiarity with Figma and the implementation of design systems

• Knowledge of data visualization is a plus (e.g., using plotly, D3.js)

• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices

• Enthusiasm for working with data and creating engaging data visualizations

• Strong analytical skills and a methodical working style

• Commitment to high software quality and superior user experience

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
