This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development, testing, and debugging of production software systems for both new and existing product features.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of product requirements and align technical decisions with project objectives and user needs.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members by offering technical guidance, sharing best practices, leading training sessions, serving as a go-to resource in your area of expertise, and empowering them to become more independent while offering support and guidance throughout the process.
• Facilitate discussions to ensure that technical requirements are communicated clearly and understood by all parties.
• Proactively identify potential technical challenges and recommend scalable solutions.
• Lead planning efforts and align goals with broader project objectives. Manage task distribution, provide effort estimates for specific tasks, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Drive the technical design, specifications, and implementation of enhancements to the performance, accessibility, reliability, and scalability of our technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop effective testing strategies, resolve issues, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Address complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in development, advocating for their integration when appropriate.
• Build new test infrastructures to enable other developers to create comprehensive tests more effectively and efficiently.
• Set a standard in code reviews by assessing code quality, architectural alignment, performance, security, and adherence to best practices. Provide constructive feedback, explain your rationale, and assist team members in understanding and improving their code.
• Create and review documentation on code processes to ensure scalability.
• Be available for on-call rotational duties to provide uninterrupted support and address emergencies.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on a full stack profile, including TypeScript/React, along with some exposure to Rust and/or Go.
• At least 2 years of experience in the authentication and identity domain.
• Practical experience with authentication standards and protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, WebAuthn, passkeys, and MFA.
• A willingness to broaden knowledge into other technical stacks and develop a T-shaped profile.
• A strong passion for software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Enthusiasm for solving complex problems, with a proven ability to address intricate challenges and propose effective, innovative solutions.
• A strong passion for communication and collaboration, demonstrated by effective teamwork and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical cross-functional partners.
• Documented experience in implementing testing methodologies and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality code.
