📋 Description

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain both existing and new applications.

• Utilize one or more programming languages in the development process.

• Implement development methodologies and various delivery models.

• Design features for applications and products.

• Execute application integration utilizing integration technologies.

• Configure applications as necessary.

• Conduct rapid prototyping to validate concepts.

• Oversee system performance management.

• Manage changes and configurations of systems.

• Handle business requirements effectively.

• Establish standards for design and development processes.

• Implement processes that ensure compliance with organizational quality standards.

• Productionalize applications through administration, configuration management, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Bridge the gap between business and technical domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in Information Technology, OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 6 years of IT experience, OR 8 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Capability to sit and perform computer entry throughout the entire work shift as necessary.

• Ability to manage workloads, prioritize multiple tasks, and resolve conflicts with customers, employees, and managers as needed.

• Proficiency in traditional application programming languages: COBOL, Perl, C+.

• Experience with scripting languages: BASH, Perl, Python, Ruby.

• Background in designing application/product features.

• Familiarity with integration technologies: Tibco, Informatica, CAS.

• Exposure to mobile technologies: HP Anywhere, iOS, Android, Java, HTML5.

• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA).

• Experience with web technologies: HTML/CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, C#.

• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies: SaaS, IaaS, PaaS.

• Competence in application configuration.

• Rapid prototyping experience.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Iterative Development.

• Experience in managing system performance.

• Skills in systems change/configuration management.

• Proficiency in business requirements management.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

• Creative thinking skills.

• Proven ability to execute tasks effectively.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, REST API, microservices, Kafka, IBM MQ, SQL, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Apache Camel, CXF, Hibernate, OAuth2.0, and Spring JPA.

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Mulesoft.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and Azure Red Hat/OpenShift.

• Background in persistence layer development using Hibernate and JPA.

• Familiarity with multiple application servers, including Tomcat and WebSphere.

• Experience with high-volume transactional web applications developed using various technologies and integration patterns.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar.

• Proven track record of establishing design and development standards and compliance processes.

• Hands-on experience in productionalizing applications, including administration, configuration management, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Excellent communication skills along with strong business acumen.
