Oracle Apex Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaboratively design, implement, and maintain mission-critical systems for USMC clientele.

• Offer software design and development expertise to support system initiatives.

• Assist in testing, integrating, and deploying the software baseline.

• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure timely and scheduled deliveries utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Effectively communicate and address critical challenges.

• Contribute to the US Marine Corps mission through application development and maintenance.

• Travel to customer locations a few times each year as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• MUST have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline (preferred) and over 5 years of experience in progressive systems engineering activities; or a suitable combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

• Proficient in developing applications, reports, and workflows within the Oracle APEX environment.

• Familiarity with Oracle EBS, OID/OAM, and Oracle 19c.

• Experience with Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.

• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, PL/SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

• Strong understanding of secure software development, configuration management, and documentation best practices.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Desired: Experience supporting systems engineering for USMC-related projects.

• Desired: Certifications that meet or exceed DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements, such as CompTIA Security+.

• Desired: Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Desired: Knowledge of software development for cloud-based platforms.

• Desired: Relevant, current Oracle certification.

• Desired: Active Top Secret security clearance.
