This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and execute a modern data architecture utilizing Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Fabric pipelines following the Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers).

• Create and sustain robust ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and curation.

• Develop scalable data warehouse solutions employing star schema design, while optimizing performance across pipelines, storage layers, and reporting models.

• Produce custom Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that deliver insights into business data.

• Conduct statistical analysis and data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability.

• Enhance queries and reporting logic for improved performance and scalability.

• Ensure compliance with established data governance and documentation standards by adhering to approved design principles and development best practices, while maintaining full compliance with all data privacy and security regulations.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders, cross-functional data teams, and the Technology PMO to define and clarify requirements, estimate effort, and deliver results.

• Maintain consistency between operational systems and analytical models.

• Design and implement customizations in Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM), including file and API-based integrations between BBCRM and external systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in SQL development, data engineering, or BI development.

• More than 5 years of Power BI development experience with a focus on creating enterprise reports, KPI scorecards, dashboards, and visualizations.

• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Fabric.

• Strong expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and the Power BI Service.

• Experience in designing and implementing tabular and multi-dimensional data models, data connections, and data transformation for business intelligence.

• Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

• Proficient in using Jira or other Atlassian tools to track and manage technical workstreams.

• Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or donor management systems.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
