Senior Developer – AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete feature development for AI-driven analytics on extensive datasets, spanning from architecture to production.

• Guide and mentor colleagues while collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Design teams to create dependable conversational flows.

• Create secure, low-latency data retrieval and AI integration pipelines (including function calling, agentic workflows, etc.) for internal datasets and APIs.

• Develop and enhance integrations with data sources by defining schemas, queries, and caching strategies; consistently refine backend components to ensure a superior user experience with optimal resource trade-offs.

• Implement quality guardrails, automated testing/evaluations, and observability; focus on scalability, performance, and cost efficiency; conduct A/B testing.

• Fine-tune context engineering and data retrieval methods - striking a balance between relevance, latency, and token efficiency to provide precise AI-driven insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software development, including more than 3 years with Python; familiarity with .NET C# or Java is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems: prompt engineering, context optimization, retrieval-augmented generation, function calling, embeddings, and vector databases.

• Background in building APIs and microservices; strong skills in software design, testing, and debugging.

• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript and React; knowledge of data visualization/charting is a plus.

• Understanding of data retrieval optimizations, caching techniques, and query performance enhancement.

• Professional experience in a cloud environment, ideally AWS; familiarity with CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring/observability tools.

• Proven ability to deliver reliable, low-latency, and cost-effective production systems.

• Strong foundation in SQL and data modeling; knowledge of NoSQL technologies is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills in English.
